What is FTTC Broadband?

FTTC (Fibre the the Cabinet) is the next evolution of copper based ADSL. Openreach route fibre to your nearest green cabinet and then through to the local BT Exchange which improves bandwidth speeds with performance upgraded to 76Mbps. (*Distance and quality of local copper dependant)

What is FTTP Broadband?

FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) is the latest iteration of Broadband. Openreach are budgeting £15billion toward the rollout of FTTP services with 75,000 premises targeted for connection. With end to end fibre, faster broadband speeds up to 900Mbps and improved reliability as copper infrastructure is entirely removed.

What is SOGEA Broadband?

SOGEA (Single Order Generic Ethernet Access) is the replacement for standard phone lines. In simple terms, SOGEA provides a line without dial tone which enables your customers to utilise their FTTC Broadband internet connection without the need for phone line.

FAQ

Can you white-label BT services?

The default BT Reseller Programme only allows your business to receive commissions for making the sale. However, there is a possibility of creating a white-label partnership on a case by case basis.

Can I sell to residential customers?

There is currently no capability to sell residential services. In order to access the residential market, your business would require a BT Wholesale relationship.

What commissions can I earn?

Commissions for new Broadband range from 18.9% to 21% of TCV (total contract value) for new business sales. Resigns and upgrades attract up to 12.6% of TCV.
